an abandoned small boy, lost in the jungle in india is raised by wild wolves. but in the jungle, other animals become his teachers: baloo the bear; bagheera the panther; kaa the python. mowgli grows up into a brave and handsome young man. tiger shere khan is the only one not wanting to admit that a human could be stronger. when mowgli meets a village girl, she shows him fire and then shere khan is at last defeated. mowgli finds love and happiness.
